What does Eirforce offer landowners?
Eirforce works with landowners to develop wind farms from
concept through to production. Typically, a project would
involve the following phases:
Phase 1
The process commences with the identification of suitable
sites and agreement in principle between Eirforce Wind Energy
Limited and the landowner. Following on from this a Desk
Study of the site is carried out to establish if the assessment
criteria are met and if any economic power generation potential
exists.
Phase 2
If the initial study gives positive indications then a
formal agreement is signed between Eirforce Wind Energy
Limited and the landowner.
Phase 3
Eirforce prepares a detailed feasibility study, which covers
issues such as Wind-Mapping assessment, liaison with Local
Authority, investigation of any potential restrictive factors,
ground conditions, ease of access to National Grid etc.
Phase 4
Subject to the outcome of the detailed feasibility study
the go ahead is given to our experienced team of qualified
experts (including Specialist Wind Energy consultants, Archaeologists,
Geotechnical Engineers, Town Planning consultants and Topographical
Surveyors) who will put together a comprehensive Planning
Application and Grid Connection Application taking into
consideration all the relevant issues which must be dealt
with.
Phase 5
Subject to Planning and Grid connection approval, Eirforce
Wind Energy Limited will put together the complete technical
and financial package to fund and build the wind farm development.
Our expert team draws on years of experience in this area
and a comprehensive programme combining the financial, engineering,
equipment procurement and installation expertise means that
the project is managed from the outset right through to
completion and connection to the National Grid.
Phase 6
Upon completion the wind farm will by managed and maintained
by Eirforce Wind Energy Ltd. The landowner enjoys an ongoing
source of income whilst retaining ultimate ownership of
their land.
